If you have images that you want to show off to the world, but do not have webspace to host the images yourself, then this is were the free image hosting websites are very usefull. They are very easy to use, its a one click upload and you recieve links to your phots to then give to others.

Do you belong to forums where you can insert images into them? If so, this is one of the reasons why free image hosting websites are so popular with forum posters. When you upload images to an image hosting website like Speeding.com, you will recieve different links to your photos, one of the links being that for the forum posting. It really is very simple to do.

When uploading your photos to the free image hosting websites, you do not have to register with them to be able to upload, but registering with them does have its added benefits. Registering with the image hosting sites is also free, and the added benefits of this are, that you can easily keep track of all your photos, keep tack of all your photo links, and you can also see how many people have viewed your images that day. It really is worth while considering becoming a registered member.

Many free image hosting sites allow you to join by paying a monthly fee, this in turn allows you to have unlimited uploads of photos and unlimited bandwidth. But what is the point in wasting your money, when there are sites like Speedimg.com, who will let you do all this for free.

To upload an image to most image hosts, all you have to do is click the browse button that is usually located right next to or underneath a text box. Next, you will need to find the image on your computer that you want to upload. After locating the image click open. The image path will now be showing in the text box. Simply click the upload button and you will be taken to a page with the various scripting tags, and the direct link to the image.

Many free image hosting websites allow you to upload several images at the one time, saving them bandwidth an alot of time. You can also have the image website download an excisting image and upload it to your account with them.

by Ryan Alberts

I purchased the Canon SD770IS to substitute a PowerShot A95. Few years ago, I purchased a Digital Elph for my daughter and found myself using that small and light camera instead of my A95. Given the advancements in technology, it was time to upgrade.

The most essential feature in searching for a replacement was the small size and the use of a rechargeable battery. The resolution was less of a factor as the A95, with just five Mpixels, created clear shots. The most notable advance, even over the recent Elph, was the increased speed of all functions including boot up and picture recording.

Image quality is stellar and the color balance and metering is brilliant. If you now own a Canon digital camera and are upgrading, the standard navigation stays mainly the identical, so that will be common to you. Use of the camera’s shooting styles requires the use of menus instead of a physical dial as on the A95.

The screen is fairly large, well enlightened and easy to view, even in bright light. Finally, the most important condition with digital picture taking should be image quality and ease of use. I have years of experience with manual SLR film cameras and similar point and shoots, and this model fits perfectly for true “turn it on and shoot” picture taking. Images are clear and vivid with solid detail and vibrant color.

The light measure does a great job of assessing the settings and choosing the best possible combination of shutter speed and aperture.

A high capacity (SDHC) storage card will hold a large amount of photographs even at the highest resolution. Uploading photos to a PC or Mac is smooth with either the provided software or Apple’s iPhoto software, which works seamlessly with the camera. I would recommend both a high capacity SD card and the optional leather case to protect the camera, especially if dropped.

This camera just blows me away. It takes brilliant photographs in full-auto mode. In situations where full-auto doesn’t quite do the job as good as possible, this camera lets you change the ISO settings, white balance, focus method, and tons of other factors.

I extremely recommend this camera for someone looking for an easy-to-use, lightweight, little and good digital camera. It’s simply a marvellous camera at a great price.

Digital photography has changed the way photography is viewed and the edge that many professionals had has closed a little. With photo editing software available relatively inexpensive, it is easy for almost anyone to play with special effects. The use of digital photography has also been a major step forward for both internet and non-internet companies.

One particular area that has benefited from this new technology is digital fashion photography and in an industry that relies on speed, this has been a huge benefit. This is probably one of the more challenging areas, because digital fashion photography has to recreate and capture everything on the catwalk an off.

No longer any need for film, the images captured can make almost anything seem possible. The world of fashion is fast moving and short lived so digital fashion photography is an excellent medium to both capture and portray these images. Like the fashion models and designers themselves, digital fashion photographers are at the top of their profession.

There are few points to consider about digital fashion photography that will help if you are thinking about taking this step in your career. Any professional photographer will always have their camera with them at all times so they will never miss a shot; this is something you will need to stay focused on.

Good digital fashion photographers know what it is they want to achieve and find a way by experimentation, on how to achieve the desired result. Like any artist you must place the model or models in the way that will create the image that you’re looking to achieve. A digital photographer should also be aware that the results of his photos will show others the many steps and points to remember when you are taking a shot.

Knowing what you want and having the knowledge of how to obtain it are two different things and you cannot be a serious digital fashion photographer without learning this. The photographer will almost always achieve better results by using curtains and reflectors plus a tripod with lighting to either the left or right side of the object at an angle of 45 degrees. If very bright lights cannot be avoided then it may be necessary to use polarizing filters to reduce the glare and other backdrop materials to help with the composition.

Is the important aspect of digital fashion photography which can be easily achieved by have plain backgrounds of white or grey. It is unlikely that until you see the final result, you will not understand what the digital fashion photographer was trying to create. A final tip would be that whilst many people do not really study the background as their attention is rightly focused on the image, the two can easily be connected even if it is not at first apparent.

I’ve been using a Canon Powershot I2 IS for the full 3 years now. Very good digital camera with a great 12X zoom. However, I wanted a digital camera to carry in my pocket. So many times I just didn’t feel like dragging a big camera with me to parties or events. This camera fills the bill. I now carry it everywhere.

The photographs it produces are astonishing. The 8 megapixels and 3X zoom produces a picture that you can crop to the point that you get nearly the same image as you would get with the 5 megapixels 12X zoom lense. The movie feature is wonderful too, even greater than the I2 IS.

The camera feels wonderful in your hand with a good, superior feeling. If you have used Canon cameras earlier the menus are very intuitive. I would not have bought this camera (or any camera for that matter) if it did not have the Picture Stabilization feature. This is especially a must as you get older.

We did close-up photographs on flowers and even hair and eyelashes and it’s impressive what resolution we got with the camera and with such clarity. The camera is accessible to use and is little smooth and compact. I got the one in brown color and it looks different and sohpisticated without searching too overly girly or masculine. Sound quality through the video recording was crisp and images were good and clear and not at all pixelated.

By the way there is an advantage to the Brown color: If you get to use the optical view finder outside, the camera itself makes minimal glare for you eye to see more clearly through the small opening. The color also makes the LCD playback pop. And as a bonus, it truly makes the camera a luxury look, you have to see it in person to value the color.

I recently took it to a monthly card party and everyone got wild over it. So much so that one person sat right down at the computer and bought one!

If you want a sub-compact, little camera that makes great images, I highly recommend the Canon SD1100IS. Definitely a good buy and well worth the money.
