I am installing the adobe flash play and the download is finished but when I open,it says that the link needs to be opened with an application.What is the application?

The application is Adobe Flash Player. Try closing the browser you are using and run the Adobe Flash Player again. You will need to re-activatate the browser for it to take effect. And that goes for each browser too.

Also make sure you have Java installed
