@DamageIncM absolut….lol…greeds from germany
Lightroom is for the Photographer, Photoshop is for the Artist.
Simple as that.
I find lightroom dose do batch images quicker but then I find for me photoshop let’s me treat each photo as an individual
I learned lots in lightroom bcoz of u … thnx so much! btw .. I love ur hair …
Where’s the fro?
I am a full time Photo Graphic Artist. I use Photoshop over Lightroom. I think Lightroom is useless to me. Just saying It takes to much room on my computer!
i love lightroom……thanx for this video.
But Lightroom uses more space because you have to import your files and then it saves extra date, plus all the catalogues. In Bridge you edit RAW in ACR which is for Photos, so why do you say that light room is for photos? come on ACR is in both LR and PS in Bridge you can batch proses easy, its just that noone seams to teach Bridge… which is so fast and use less HD space. and if you need to clone or do any fills you need PS so why have both?
They see me roll on , my segway, i know in im heart they think im white and nerdy.. man weird al.. i love your songs.. when did you start doing these youtube vids?

what about videos, iphoto allows you to import videos, does aperture and lightroom allow videos?
I use both. If I don’t need to make a serious edit like doing graphic work then I use light room. I find i best if I am going to use photoshop that I get the image to look like I want it to look first then send it over.
You are right. For fast Photo editing is LR unbelievable good. But for composing and editing liked changing the background is Photoshop the Monopol.
nice perm bud
I use LR 2 and cant open RAW wtf .. can u tell me why or what to do .. I saw on other vids of urs that u have HSL COLOR RAW.. mine shows HSL COLO GRAYSCALE .. thnx
I’ve been using both and I like Lightroom better. Just because I only need to edit photos and I can produce beautiful images extremely quickly. It’s a definite time saver.
OMG your keyboard it’s driving me crazy
i really love your videos…symple, fast and helpfull!
@kraig800i all it takes is a little more time and attention to detail if just using gimp.
@The85thkid thanks, glad you liked it.
This is definitely the best HDR Gimp tutorial on youtube. Thanks a lot dude, really helpful.
Thanks for uploading, was starting to think all gimp users needed 3rd party software to get good HDR effects.
btw what was the software you used before importing the pictures into gimp ?
there’s also a ‘retinex’ plugin under the colour menu, its a bit tricky to get a good looking HDR but it works pretty well
@LauraMamma He is using *.NEF files which is a RAW file for Nikon cameras. You can do it with JPEGs but the advantage of using RAW is the data is unaltered by any compression, therefore making more accurate, rich photos.
were the pictures you used RAW or JPEG?
hello @Dombowerphoto how didi u put ur face in the screen please help!

Hi thanks for the video, really helpful! Question: Is this method applicable to work with 3 or more pictures? thanks again!
