Cross processing is from the days of film photography when people would develop their film using chemicals meant to process a different type of film to get the effect similar to that shown in the video.
I love this weather for photography, when people i know get upset on their wedding days because the suns not shining, i tell them how luck they are because the photo will be fabulous with one squinting facing or reflection on peoples glasses.
Hello, you photos are amazing. I would like you to do some videos about photographing macro. I love macro photos but i dont have good enough lens. By the way, I use Olympus E-410 with 14-42 F3. 5 – 5. 6 lens. And I live in Estonia. Thanks.
This tutorial answers a bit the question I’ve asked on your previous post. Using Camera Raw plus Photoshop filters could be as good as using Lightroom directly.
Again, nice job!

sorry for being daft, but can someone explain the cross processing concept to me? what is it, how/why did it result in unpredictable colour shifts?

Great Video as always. You can’t beat the British summer!
One quick point, you could have copied the layer mask from the brightness/contrast into the photo filter layer by alt clicking and dragging.

Brilliant use of color shift, vignette, an old piece of wood and a flower.
Cheers.

Another great video. Listening to you describe the weather, it almost sounds like you were here in Vancover today.

Once again Gavin shows you don’t need an expensive or complicated set up to take a great shot.
Well done Gavin!
