You might find it’s a bit quick for plugins for CS4 to appear on the market. This applies to freebies just as much as commercial ones. Because there’s been such a radical shift on how Photoshop CS4 deals with plugins internally (the whole structure has basically been changed), it’s going to take time for plugin manufacturers to get up to speed with those changes and to incorporate them into the workflow so that the plugin will work with the app.
Now you know why I’ve stuck with PS CS2. It’s stable, it works and it ain’t such a memory hog.
I’ve found a couple that work, the ones you have to pay for of course. I would give it some time. If you’re really desperate then you could just download all the plug-ins you want and try them and see which ones work.
