Kevin Potts has done an incredible job of presenting the logical steps to make your site more usable, accessible and marketable. The Web is a heavy industry. Everyone has a website, and with the help of some editors, in theory, anyone can create a website. There are, however, a great difference between simply creating a website and creating a website usable. I found the key to reading this book is to pass outside of your projects. A look outside and think about how to create value. Too often, we stick to our plans and can become very close. The journey to creating a successful website is not always easy. There are many decisions to be made before designs are created or tagging is carried out. The book we started earlier this journey, and walks us through some steps to create a successful website that meets our business objectives and gentlemen, as you interact with people around us. The process of making The beauty of the soul is that things can always move and change. We do not work in a static environment. We have the ability to change its flight and monitor and respond to our needs. The first 4 chapters lay the groundwork for the creation of a site on the market. Given your goals, visions and needs, and the creation of appropriate building blocks to give you the solid foundation you need. These things are redesigning a site and objectives, planning and platform management, content, collecting content, the fight against the problems of accessibility in order to give maximum visibility of your site, and creation of their site architecture and navigation. Within these elements found a way to tell your story. It is likely that there are many others out there with similar stories, so you should take the time to plan properly. Craft your words wisely. Understanding technology and constraints. Ultimately, you must understand your target and how to use the web. Without users, the beautifully designed site will be nothing more than decoration. Take time to plan your architecture and navigation based on your mental model of the user. You must first understand that in most cases, are not the target. Step back and empathize with users and their surfing habits. These chapters give you all the little details you need to build a solid foundation. Now, I understand your goals, it has been designed to meet the needs of users, and you are familiar with the tools to use (and avoid) to hear your story. It's all about content Now that we have the foundations, the next 6 chapters will walk through some parts use the most current levels observed in a number of different sites. Content items, such as your home page, a section about us, products and services – whatever you happen to offer, using words that others have said about you, involving users through the blog features, and ultimately, your story and supporting communication with the public. These pieces of content should be structured with wisdom. No piece should exist without the other. If done right, you will find a way to inter-weave the content between each of the different sections. Your home page is an excellent example of a page that has the value of real estate and can be used to target your visitors when you want to go. The goal is not to create your content in small islands, but craft the content in a way that encourages scanability, readability, and user interaction. Now, we build a solid foundation, and added our content to the top of the foundation. Things are starting to fill up and are always proud of the work you have done. It is not too far from us, though. While things may look great, you still need to find a way to make your story known to others. That is, after all, the goal of this book to publicize your website. Now look at some ways to get involved. Shout It in the hills You have a solid foundation. You have a well-built architecture and content quality. Now is the time to submit your site for free. The next 5 chapters walk through some steps you can take to become more visible. The first of these steps involve the organization of your server to answer a series of requests from different users, such as redirects properly, looking outside and inside your website, handling errors and normally respectfully guide users, and understanding the contexts of different users can access online (content, printing, equipment, etc.). Next up is to cover your bases with the legalese. This can be useful in many cases to protect your business, content and users. Taking comfort in this place is you, the site owner and the user who visits your website. The next section compresses what could have been a whole book. This is the process of SEO: optimizing the architecture, content, and requests to give you maximum visibility. This chapter provides useful suggestions for how search engines to find content and how it can be left free to explore your new construction site or a re-worked existing website. Careful examination must be taken in both cases. This leads to the last 2 chapters that deal with marketing marketing abroad and online. All this is under the auspices of telling a story in a crowded Internet. These chapters are up to very powerful tool to join the community and interact within it. And "the art of building relationships with people around you – both sites and users. And now? Building a successful website takes time. You need time to develop your website and see it grow. As we recognized early, the beauty of the soul is that we can constantly move and change to meet our needs and goals. Although this book covers a wide range of subjects covering a very concise and readable. If you own a site with little understanding of how the Web, or an experienced web developer trying to find the next steps, this book will be able to point you in the right direction. Kevin displays the same value to connect with those around you, providing a very useful appendix of useful resources such as books, websites and articles that span each of these themes in the book. If you use one of web marketing, this guide will prove an invaluable resource, now and in the future.

"Web design and marketing solutions for corporate Web sites," by Kevin Potts was first brought to my attention by my wife, Adrienne, a Web designer whose work, the islands of identity Cloud develops projects for companies for Internet marketing. Advised me as an extraordinarily useful text. I found particularly readable, including chapters on the platforms, content management, development, standards-based and other subjects which are normally or head or simply difficult to read. The contents of Chapters Potts and SEO are binding, provide excellent examples and are useful as any I have ever read. The book is several months old, so it is with illustrations of new network configurations Google Analytics. E 'published by [. . . ] Who is a publishing house run by and for Web designers.
