You can find the shape library if you go to the shape tool, go to the one called “Custom Shape Tool”. Look up at the top, it will say Shape: with a little drop down menu, yours should be in there.
The first one isn’t a question, but I know what you are asking, hold the space bar and command (control for PC) and click, it will zoom in, or just use the magnifying glass tool, option (alt for PC) and click to zoom out, click to zoom in.

Same happened here, but I fixed mine because the Brush was too thick. Once I reduced the size, it worked. . .
