www.graphicsdistrict.com – This is a tutorial for beginners. It explains what layers are and how they are useful when working on an image, and provides basic instructions on creating, moving, repositioning and naming layers.
ok i got a problem , i chose a tool to work with , any tool but when i try to draw with it it dosent work the hand thing keeps apearing on the photo insted of the tool so can anyone help me?
im having a problem? you know how when you create layers, you can drag them around so that images are either in front of on top of eachother? like if I had my background picture, and then a new layer with a bird on it, then I could either make the bird show up on the background or behind it? Well, when I try to do that, (I have a pic of a person, and then I want clouds in the background or something) then, unless the clouds are OVER the person’s face, the clouds just disappear. help??

You can use ctrl+alt+z to undo your deletion, unless you’ve saved to photoshop it later.
