Zoe Mickley Gillenwater walks through the theory and logic behind the design with CSS to create fluid design choices. The book is very heavy in theory, so the book 9 chapter 3 chapters of pure theory before you even get to the meat of how CSS can help to create drawings and diagrams Zoe suggests they are best for each situation. Finally, in Chapter 4, you get a brief exposure to the life of the CSS in the design process, but it is short. Do not get me wrong job, the theory is a very important part of the design and development in general. You must first know where you are and why you go, or you'll surely end up in a place you never expected. However, I felt that this book was a bit heavy on theory. Other examples would be nice too.    Great book. It is difficult to put down. The explanations are very concise and illuminating an area sometimes confused web design. Good pointers. Quick to get to the nitty gritty of designing flexible and fluid. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for your help.

   It is a fantastic book (very well written too) for those who want to know how to successfully create layouts that really work and accommodation for users of destination. If you're serious about the presentation of the interface, then this book is very convenient and is a must read. The author illustrates the proper use / application of various techniques such as fixed location, liquid and elastic. It is nice to know that accessibility is not forgotten and taken into account where appropriate. A great author who knows how to teach, guide and develop its own distribution and clear.

   I struggled with CSS and learn to act. I went to the library and must be paid by about 15 or so CSS-related books. I was looking for a step by step through the process and immediately grabed the book as the man to beat. I came away with 3 books to the register. This book was first on my list to read. Flexible Web Design helped me to overcome the learning curve to answer my questions much broader and more polite to my css Hangups the first night I broke my book. He explains very well as a friend sitting with you. You take nothing for granted, your explanations very thorough flows always easy and comfortable at the same time you did? I highly recommend this to all the designers going from table to CSS and need a big crash to think global and act quickly, with lots of tips, strategies and design considerations. Thank you very much for this there.

   I just bought the book, and I find it a valuable resource for layout liquid subject to confusion. It "Set Me Straight" on some basics, and I especially liked how Zoe explained the advantages and disadvantages of different betting options. For this reason I will refer to before beginning a new project for me, help me to make some design decisions. In addition, it provides some examples to address some issues that must be considered when working with liquid layouts (such as strategies to use to graphic compositions). I also think a good mix of theory and actual practice. . . I found that some books are too much of either. For those who want to go beyond the layout width fixed, I highly recommend it. I was very happy to see a comprehensive book that deals specifically with liquid layouts, written by someone who is an expert in this particular area. However, it is not for the beginner web designer (and the author makes clear in his introduction).
