This is a video survey of UMSL students talking about the differences between fine art and graphic design. The project resulted in the creation of study fine design, a movement that hopes to blur the line between fine art and graphic design, break boundaries, and start a new art revolution! Thanks to all of my friends for appearing in the video, especially my beautiful girlfriend Lauren LeBlanc. music by blur (please don’t sue me)
I went to art college for 4 years in the program of drawing and painting. E 'was the closest thing I could get without entering the program design and illustration that it was. . . interesting, to say the least. People have very strange ideas illustration and design.
Know how many months it took a fine artist who painted the painting of 3000? And how many times fineartist is able to sell an image? All are all ready to buy all the software, have been for 10 years or more.
anyone who is not decent to be on youtube and writes a comment like that. I am sure that suck ass! 'es un noname like all the other millions of designers who work in an agency that does the work crappy crap random random!
LOL Guy ambitions after this year of graduation, im not to become a graphic designer: DD, JK lol Nah, the dream is still alive. . be unemployed from your garage you suck though. .
I was pretty decent, Graphic Designer, and I had no experience in the design. I just had to keep in mind that graphics elitist denied. I stopped though.
Graphic Design in 10 years from now, there is, everyone can become a graphic designer, only with the purchase of software and effort to learn the basics. It will not be graphic, but Graphic Artist or Graphic Art, or artist. And that's all! But still, companies hire creative dudes! To be honest, if an artist sells a painting for 3000 DLLR in one piece, which is smarter? The designer or artist?
dumb asses say unnessacary design is a graphic artist, I have everything I do with my art to draw in photoshop then change the timing of computer use lol stfu pure, but I really like this Video
In fact, their is a fairly even mix of majors traditional fine arts majors and graphic design. Many of these students have graduated and landed big jobs.
The design is an art. Applied Art E '. Most reviews here are made by students clear FINE ART, which will never be money or your life with their work. See you all stooges Walmart.

Graphic design is not advertising. is used in advertising, from time to time. Not the same though. I know – I do.

It's not rocket science. Graphic designers to create jobs for other people, and artists to create jobs for themselves (or at least try).
