I installed a trial version of the newest Tiffen DFX Photoshop CS4 plug-in, but then tried to install an older version of the plug-in directly from a CD. I deleted the plug-in from the applications folder, but now the old version won’t install since it says I’ve got a newer version already installed. But now the trial version is no longer available as an option in Photoshop itself. Help!

you have uninstall all the files of new CS4, even if the trail version has end but the in your system wont allow you to install older version, Go to control panel then to add and remove OR uninstall the program,
Go to the drive where you have installed the CS4, mannualy remove all they files of CS4
After completing now you can install new CS3,,
All the best..

Delete the plugin folder from /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS4/Plug-ins and try installing the plug-in again. If that doesn’t work the developer should have included an uninstaller with the DMG you installed the plug-in from. If not, contact the developer directly and ask for help.
