Miss.Mama asked:
I made invitations using Photoshop cs4. Is there any way to upload them on my disk so I can take them to get developed? Right now they are just saved as Photoshop files. I don’t think I can get Photoshop files developed.

Save them as Photoshop PDFs. Almost any place that will print things for you will print from a PDF, and with the PDF you don’t have to worry whether they have the same fonts as the ones you used. I hope you are using standard paper sizes for your invitations, otherwise you will need to trim them. I also hope you set your resolution to 300 dpi.
If you’re happy with your work and the resolution and document sizes are correct, Go to File>Save As and when the dialog window comes up, click on the file menu at the bottom, select PDF. If you want, you can rename the file at this point too. When the PDF settings box comes up, select High Quality Print. You may also want to deselect “Preserve Photoshop Editing” if that shows up. Then click OK or Save and your file will become a PDF, and that you can copy to a thumbdrive/flash drive and take it to whereever you intende to get it printed.
And note: you are not getting these files “developed” You are getting them printed. There’s no film involved here.

Save the image as a .jpeg or some other file type, and then print it out. Photoshop should have an option where you can do it automatically, or if not, then when you click save as, instead of selecting the photoshop file format, instead select whatever format it is you need.

i agree with amy – save your file as a pdf if your shop can print it. they most likely can.
while tim is correct about saving as a .jpeg the big difference is that the text and lines will be crisper in a pdf than a jpeg. use jpegs for photos only.
