Please also provide a link where I can get it- the full thing,
and maybe under $600.
Thank you.
Five star points to whoever gives me the best link to where i can get it pretty cheap, and tells me which one is better.

(1) CS4 is the latest version. However, for what you want to do you DO NOT need full Photoshop. You should be able to do just fine with Photoshop Elements. If you are on a PC it’s version 7, on a Mac, version 6.
(2) If you absolutely have to have full Photoshop, I recommend getting the student license if you are a student. Check with your school, sometimes they have a program to help you make the purchase. If not, you can still legally buy the student license for Photoshop through Adobe itself, or through legal academic resellers such as JourneyEd.com and Academic Superstore. Or if you have a university near you, often the university bookstore is authorized to sell the student license versions of software. This will cost somewhere between $200 and $300 as opposed to more than $600 for the retail license. And it’s a full version, not a “light” version of Photoshop.
Note that any link that claims to have it for cheap is a scam (unless it’s an Academic Reseller such as the two I listed). You always want to buy such software through legitimate sites. DO NOT try to get it for free, that’s software piracy, no matter what someone may offer here on Yahoo!Answers or tell you you can do.
