Emergency Photoshop Help! New to this, please come, very serious?

Look, I’m New to photoshop. My friend got me photoshop CS3 Extended as a gift. The thing is that it wasnt packged with anything or having an instruction booklet. He just gave me the CD and its acitvation code. I’m totally new to photoshop. I have never used any kind of programs like this EVER. I Really need to know what EVERY Tool does and its purpose. About the “PS” I asked. On that page there is a person who makes these “Kirby” 3D Renders from scratch.
I asked the person how he did it, and he told me he made them naturally. He told me he learned this by observing and learning the tools. I asked him if he would give me a tutorial but he told me he is not good at making tutorials and cant make one.

OK, PS is nt something where you can just learn it instantly… It takes a VERY long time to master. Even if there was a tutorial that had every tool and its use, it would not be nearly as effective as doing and learning yourself. Just give the program a try and see what you can learn from just going out there. Also look at tutorials for specific projects and try them out to see if you can learn anything from them.
you need to go to the bookstore or library and get the book to teach you how to run the programs. There is way to much info in there for someone on line to give you a tutorial. I used the tutorial book that adobe published It comes with a cd to assist you with your projects & its about 50 bucks, but I know you can get it used for much cheaper. There are also simple tutorials in the software itself.

For free tutorials, everything here is totally free, and categorised for easy finding of specific effects;
and about ur PS, I don’t know exactly what you’re talking about on that page. Please be more specific
The assist in photoshop is amazing, if you need to understand anything it’s all there, I have never found anything it didn’t have when I needed it.
If you put your mouse over the buttons on the tool bar it tells you what they all are.
Have fun with it, it’s an amazing program.

Do what I did - experiment, mess around.
If you really get stuck, go to a book store and buy one of the many books on Photoshop or use the local library.
