Well,
you could definitely buy it for around $500. But i know that if you go onto Download.com there is a version of it that will work just fine. And its free =)
It is a very expensive and very complex piece of software by adobe. You can download a 30 day trial on their site. “everyone” most likely pirated the software and own illegal copies of it. Software piracy is a crime. Use torrents to get it illegally if you wish.
Photoshop is a pretty expensive commercial product. There are often lite versions of it sold with scanners, digicams and so forth. There are also free or cheaper shareware programs (have a look on Tucows) that offer similar functionality.
Of course, there are pirate versions of Photoshop on the net, but that’s your choice and risk.
I wish Adobe would offer a full “home’ version of Photoshop at a sensible price.
The fact that you’re asking shows that you have no desire to spend 100-1,000 to get it so try out something else that works wonderfully. Paint.NET is just about as good (minus alot of fancy features), especially considering its completely free. See source for website.
Go to adobe.com and try their 30 day free trial first of all and see if you like it. Its a real fun program, but costs alot of money, but well worth it. I have seen it at Costco for alot cheaper than some other places. You can always buy it from adobe though or do some research and check out the lowest prices on the Internet. Remember there are several different versions, from basic to more advanced. I prefer the CS3 version because it offers a bit more in that particular program.
But it does cost a bit more than the cheaper more basic ones.
You cannot legally get Photoshop for free, and asking for this is probably a violation of the Community Guidelines. You can get the educational version (also called a student license) for less than 1/3 the retail cost. Your school, if you are a student, may be able to assist you. If they can’t you can still get it from legal resellers such as JourneyEd.com or AcademicSuperStore. You will have to prove you are a student, but your school can assist with that.
You can also try gimp from or gimpshop or paint.net at, all of which are similar to Photoshop, and legal and free. They are Open Source software.
If you have no clue about using it (which I think is obvious because you aren’t even aware that it’s an expensive program that you have to buy), then you really shouldn’t bother trying to get it at this time. It’s really aimed at professional photographers, graphic designers and digital artists. You would probably find that Photoshop Elements, which is the consumer level product, will be more than enough for you and it’s less than $100. Whatever version you get, and even if you get one of the legally free image editors, you will have to spend time learning how they work. They don’t perform miracles (it’s not push a button and get something cool), it takes time and practice.
Think about this: there is a reason things like Photoshop are so expensive. Many people have spent hours and hours working their rears off creating, developing and testing this product. It requires technical and creative know-how, skill and effort to produce something like this. It is not something somebody just whipped together. When you ask to get something like this for free you are disrespecting all the people who work for Adobe. You are also disrespecting the creative community that knows how to use this product and has paid properly for it. Some of the cost of this product is because Adobe has to protect its products from software piracy, and they pass on some of that cost to those of us who actually pay for the product.
So if you can’t afford to buy something legally, instead of asking how to steal it, ask what alternatives there are. I’ve given you several.
Good luck.

It is not free. But there is a 30 day trial. You can edit images and it is really fun to play around with
You can get it free if you download a keygen/crack for it, because it requires a keycode for the full version. Its not legal though.

Photoshop is not free, although a free Album Starter Edition is available, which allows you to organize your photos.
The Elements Edition sells for about AU$150, and the full version sells for around AU$1,000.
